The Red Power Roundup team was pleased to have Mr. Tony Ramos as a "Harvester Heritage" featured speaker at the 2018 Red Power Roundup at the Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery, AL on Friday, June 15, 2018.

 

Mr. Ramos is a cotton grower from Fresno, CA and witnessed the first cotton picker to arrive in the San Joaquin Valley. As a teenager, he worked at Allied Equipment, who was hired to restore Ole’ Red, the cotton picker subsequently donated to the Smithsonian Institution. Tony had the privilege of participating in this historic project.
